Compatibility Notice
MixTab supports most websites using standard HTML5 audio/video. However,
a small number of platforms use fully protected audio systems that
currently prevent MixTab from controlling volume or playback.
Currently known not supported:
Spotify Web Player
SoundCloud
Why these platforms cannot be controlled
- They do not use the standard HTMLMediaElement audio pipeline.
- Audio is routed through protected or private WebAudio layers.

These layers block extensions from modifying volume or playback.
- This is a platform restriction — not a MixTab bug.
We are actively researching workarounds for these platforms. If support
becomes possible, it will be included in a future update.
